3 NXT Stars Who Should Appear at Royal Rumble 2016

Posted by BAD MAN

With Royal Rumble 2016 right around the corner today we will be taking a look at the 3 Nxt Stars that should step up and make a appearence at the pay-per-view.

NXT is one of the hottest thing in professional wrestling right now and with some of the best talent in NXT everybody is looking up for the NXT stars to step up to the main roster and what would be the better option to bring them as surprise entrants at Royal Rumble evemt. Royal Rumble offers 30 mens a chance to compete and, there is more than enough space to fit NXT stars on the lineup.

The Royal Rumble is one of the top pay-per-views on the annual calendar in WWE. It has always been the place for surprise appearances. Who can ever forget the The Honky Tonk Man turning up in 2001, only to get hit with his own guitar by Kane? Or Diesel making a very surprising return in 2011? Or the almost Earth-shattering return from injury by John Cena in 2008?

So lets take a look at the top 3 NXT stars who should make a appearance at the event which the crowd will cheer and love to see them.

1. Finn Balor

Finn Balor is our current NXT champion and who could be better than our NXT Champion to thrust into the action on one of the biggest shows of the year for WWE? What an epic debut it could be.

The clock counts down, the arena goes dark, it begins to fill with smoke, that familiar music hits and out crawls the Demon Finn Balor from the smoke. Can you imagine the pop from the crowd!

If you want to see the next big thing in action, he needs to be pushed into the Royal Rumble. If it happens, you won’t be disappointed.

2. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn made a big impression when he made his debut against John Cena as part of the US Open Challenge, you could say he was massively unlucky to get injured during his entrance for the match.

Sami Zayn is not on the verge to make a comeback and he is advertised for the NXT's UK tour and he has been seen practising at the performance center in WWE.  By the time we hit Royal Rumble he’ll be back to his peak as one of the major stars of NXT.

Sami Zayn has the ability to be one of the best baby faces the company has under contract. During his feud with former friend Kevin Owens, for the NXT title he fought so long and hard to win, he showed just how good he was at playing the underdog. When Owens brutalised him during their TakeOver matches he sold better than anyone else in the company. The ability to gain sympathy from the crowd is something that WWE finds hard to do (Roman Reigns) but Zayn has a connection with the audience that others would do well to learn from.

Imagine putting him into the Rumble to square off with Owens once again. It would gain all kinds of heat for Owens if he could manage to beat Sami down and have it look like he was about to be easily thrown over the top rope, only for Zayn to rally and eliminate Owens instead. You then have an automatic feud between he pair that can start for the Intercontinental title.

3. Baron Corbin

Corbin is just the kind of guy that Vince McMahon loves—a big guy who looks like a badass that can exert his presence on his opponents. The fact he is so big will always work in his favor, but his ring work has come a long way since he first set foot in NXT. The main roster is missing a young, big, imposing guy who can over power his opponents and Corbin would be the perfect candidate for that role. The best spot to show him off would be during the Royal Rumble

Is there anyone else that you would like to step up from NXT to the main roster and appear at Royal rumble pay-per-view. Do share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
