Royal Rumble 2016 Predictions

#1 Royal Rumble Match (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

Royal Rumble match is finally here And for the first time Roman Reigns will have to defend his wwe championship inside the royal rumble match. The odds of winning for the champion appear to be even low now that we know he’s entering at #1.  The standouts for this 2016 Royal Rumble will be Reigns, Jericho, Lesnar and Bray Wyatt. As far as surprise entrants go, we have a feeling that a certain man with the initials “AJ” will shock the world and show his face. The Wyatt Family and The League of Nations will dominate for certain periods (The Social Outcasts will be treated like nothing but jobber fodder, though). Either Brock Lesnar or Triple H will end up winning the Royal Rumble Match.

#2 Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Kevin Owens (Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship)

Ambrose and Owens have gone on War for the past few weeks and they have got us more interest in the Intercontinental title picture then the U.S title. Their back and forth attacks have brought us here – a Last Man Standing match. Both men will bring out all types of weaponry, brawl into the crowd and involve the announce tables in some way, shape or form. Ambrose will do something amazing and undeniably insane in order to lay Owens down till the count of 10. Our money’s on Ambrose retaining here.

#3 Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Kalisto (WWE United States Championship)

Kalisto upset Del Rio on the Jan. 11 edition of Raw to win his first single's title. Del Rio, with the help of Wade Barrett, reclaimed the gold on this past week's edition of SmackDown. Having Kalisto drop the title to Del Rio on SmackDown last week was a questionable move to say the least. In last week's match on Raw, Kalisto and Del Rio put on an exciting match that would be worthy of a main event to close the night. We’d love to see Kalisto once again win the US Championship, but our gut feeling tells us Rio’s retaining here.

#4 Charlotte (c) (with Ric Flair) vs. Becky Lynch (WWE Divas Championship)

For almost two months now, this feud has been building between these two. Charlotte had been showing heel tendencies after taking on actions from her father, Ric Flair, in the ring. This led to the Irishwoman becoming more annoyed by the day with the Nature Girl’s actions. Both women will put on a satisfying title match here. Something tells us the very same person who’s aided Charlotte the most will also be her downfall during this match. Ric Flair will involve himself somehow and try to cheat on his daughter’s behalf, but it will backfire and result in Becky Lynch becoming the new Divas Champion.

#5 The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston and/or Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) (WWE Tag Team Championship)

The New Day seem to be untouchable, unbeatable and flat out entertaining. They’ve bested several tag teams during their reigns as WWE Tag Team Champions, but they recently took an L from The Usos. That loss set up this title match encounter between two of the hottest tag teams in WWE today.

Big E and Kofi will be the ones to represent their hilarious stable against the Samoan twins Jimmy and Jey. Like most of their previous in-ring squabbles, there’s going to lots of high-flying and interference from Xavier Woods (with no trombone, sadly). Our best bet is to go with The New Day, right? Exactly. New Day’s taking the win here, by hook or by crook.
